Sultan Pasha International Holding Company, which is a subsidiary of the German company RH Company GmbH, was established with the aim of developing an integrated, sustainable, and advanced industrial and agricultural system in the Republic of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
This project is part of a broader development plan aimed at strengthening the national economy, advancing the agricultural and domestic production sectors, creating sustainable employment opportunities, and establishing an organized global export network that will contribute to transforming Iraq and the Kurdistan Region into a new hub for the food industry in the Middle East and worldwide.

The holding company comprises several specialized factories, each responsible for a specific part of the production and distribution chain.
  • First Factory: Sultan Pasha – Dried Fruits and Natural Products
Production and packaging of dried fruits using a nitrogen system in accordance with ISO 22000 and HACCP standards.
  • Second Factory: Sultan Pasha – Frozen Products
Production of frozen dried fruits, ice cream, meat, and other frozen food products using modern European technologies.
  • Third Factory: Sultan Pasha – Natural Fruit Rolls (Leather)
Production of natural fruit rolls (Qamar Al-Din) made from fresh fruits without any chemical additives.
  • Fourth Factory: Sultan Pasha – Coffee and Natural Beverages
Production of coffee and natural food powders under the global brand “Sultan Pasha.”
In future phases, new factories will be established in the fields of spices, seeds, and dairy products.

Agricultural Development and Supply Chain Plan


The holding company has developed a strategic plan to advance agriculture in Iraq and Kurdistan, with the aim of supporting farmers and revitalizing agricultural lands.

Main objectives:
  • Leasing and investing in agricultural lands to produce raw materials.
  • Ensuring the purchase of agricultural products from local farmers.
  • Training farmers in modern and sustainable agricultural practices.
  • Establishing cold storage and pre-processing networks in rural areas.
This policy will contribute to increasing local production, encouraging farmers to return to their lands, and creating new job opportunities in rural communities.

Social Impact

The project will have a significant impact on the economic and social development of Iraq and Kurdistan:
  • Creating more than 1,500 direct job opportunities in the initial phases and over 5,000 jobs in later stages.
  • Increasing Iraq’s non-oil exports and boosting foreign currency inflows.
  • Transferring and developing modern industrial and agricultural technologies.
  • Improving farmers’ living standards and achieving economic balance in rural areas.
